Kevin Fleming: Nicaragua

Kevin I. Fleming is a past director of the Edmonton Apartment Association in Edmonton, Alberta, and spent 12 years in the construction industry before pursuing real estate opportunities in Central America. Fleming and his business partner Robert Black co-founded a company called Nicaragua Developments S.A. to acquire prime real estate in Nicaragua. His portfolio includes Isla Mariana Beach Resort (Leon), Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort (San Rafael Del Sur) and Casa Mariana Hotel (Granada)--all are named for his Nicaraguan wife, Maria.

Fleming directs all aspects of operations, policies and initiatives. His responsibilities also include developing a business plan, identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities, contacting and meeting with potential acquisition targets and completing due diligence on prospect properties of land development.
