Richard Goatcher: Edmonton, Canada

Richard Goatcher has been the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's senior market analyst for the Alberta capital region and the Northwest Territories since 1997. Prior to that, he held a similar position at CMHC's Winnipeg office for more than 10 years, producing economic, demographic and housing market forecasts for Manitoba. Goatcher chairs the Canadian Home Builders' Association—Edmonton Region's Economic Forecast Committee and is a past president of the Economics Society of Northern Alberta and the Manitoba Association for Business Economics.
