2007's Top 10 Investments Under $25,000 | Add Comment

  • Impressive List! 9/13/2007
As a real estate investment sales person, and a business broker, I have my biases. But this list has a theme I am very much behind: Commodities. Eight of the ten fit can be classified as a commodity, as I see it. Real Estate, in a wide variety. Housing. Metals. Businesses - not in a company's stock - but in a business you can really work, and develop into something big. Foreign Currencies and loans I'd stay away from, but that's me. I am preparing for a global inflation that should hurt paper assets in general. Stocks may or may not keep up, but the hard, physical assets that you can touch, feel, and hold in your hands have the most potential for growth and as an inflation hedge for the next several years. I still own a few stocks, in emerging growth companies. It's a good place to keep liquid funds. But I expect my sertious money to come from my businesses and real estate. But, ask me again in a few years!
