IRA Money can be Invested in Real Estate 6/12/2008

David's post is very valuable information and educational. Most investors in the United States believe that they cannot use IRA money to buy real estate and They are WRONG. I am in Mexico and I am from Mexico and let me tell you that we have seen many Amaricans using their IRA's to Invest in Mexico. IRA money can be used in a wide range of investments like: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, money market funds, etc..and YES REAL ESTATE. That includes houses, condos, commercial property, office and industrial buildings, etc.. and not just in the USA. Even if located in ANOTHER COUNTRY like MEXICO. So YES Americans can invest their IRA in Mexico Real Estate.
