The country's raw beauty and friendly people influenced him to leave the high speed lifestyle of southern California and technology sales to start something new and refreshing. Henkel holds a business degree in marketing from the University of Alabama and a masters degree in Information Technology from San Diego State University. He has traveled extensively throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and founded Water's Edge Realty to help others experience the incredible joys of living and investing in Nicaragua.
