Becoming a McDonald's franchisee is not for everyone. It's a long term commitment. You'll need significant financial investment combined with a hardworking and hands-on approach to running a customer-orientated business.


A few things to think about before you apply
Be aware that franchising is not for everyone. To operate a McDonald's franchise you need the managerial and personal skills necessary to run a business employing 50 or more people and serving three to four hundred thousand customers a year.
It should come as no surprise then, that our selection process is rigorous. We look for individuals with:
High personal integrity
High standards of people management and communication
Ability to display financial acumen
Strong leadership qualities
The personality to be an excellent ambassador for McDonald's

You will need the following information to complete the application form:
Current employer address and earnings
Previous two employers' addresses and earnings
All of the following minimum requirements below must be confirmed before proceeding:
You have $100,000 of free capital to invest in your training and thereafter the purchase of a McDonald's franchise?
You can be flexible regarding locations?
You can commit to working in the business?
You have a track record of success?
You will divest yourself of all other business interests?
You have never been declared bankrupt?
You have never had a business failure?
You have never been convicted of a criminal offence?
