Paradise Valley is welcoming an insane new entry to the real estate property business. The Village at Mountain Shadows is a new and amazing gated luxury development by Cullum Homes. There are 40 homes with spacious floor plans that were created by Candelaria Design Associates and there’s one incredible option that has got car lovers talking: The Car Bar.

If you have ever seen Jay Leno’s car collection, then you may have a good idea of what this is; essentially a basement it serves as an auto showroom. There’s even a seating area with entertainment and a wet bar. With two-hour fire rated glass partitions offering easy observation, a car bar is the ideal way to showcase your collection. The showroom will set buyers back around $60,000 and adding a car elevator to get your vehicles to the showroom will cost another $60,000.

The idea came after Cullum’s upscale home buying clients were consistently looking for at least a garage with space for three cars and a smaller home. The benefit of the Village at Mountain Shadows are the properties ranging from just over 3,000 square feet to just over 7,000. A smaller footprint, less maintenance and the secret car bar to store your babies.

Clients looking to downsize didn’t want to deal with the upkeep of large yards, but want to keep their beloved car collections, but how is it possible to reduce lot size and still provide space for multiple vehicles. Cullum realized downsizing doesn’t always mean losing out on crucial storage space… the best way to provide clients with both was to go low. Window wells provide the basements with plenty of Arizona sunshine, too, so there are no worries about dreary basements.

By March 20 of the homes had been sold, and five were kitted out with the Car Bar basement. The model home has been designed to include the Car Bar, offering curious neighbors and prospective buyers a chance to see one up close and personal. The model home’s Car Bar will have space for motorcycles, and four cars, but Cullum Homes are prepared to go bigger if that’s what their buyers need.

If you don’t live nearby and you would love to check out the Village at Mountain Shadows don’t worry, because Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing recently did some filming in town and it just so happens to feature the Cholla Model. There are five other models, the Camelback Plans are sold out, but there are still homes available in Camelview, Echo, Paradise and Summit. Have a look at the neighborhood map to see what homes are still available.

Despite the fact that Cullum is not a car enthusiast the business caters to a special niche to ensure that homebuyers can customize their homes to their tastes. Luckily, there will be less shining to do on those Mercedes wheels, as they’ll be protected in the Car Bar.
