Adventurers with a penchant for sun and surf, and investors alike, are always looking the next great location. Recently TripAdvisor announced the Top 10 Best Beach winners of its 2010 Traveler’s Choice Awards – which is a great place to start. The number one spot is held by Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, and other winners include Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Tulum, Mexico. Winners were selected based on the millions of reviews left with TripAdvisor by actual travelers along with research about each location. For more on this continue reading the following article from International Living.

According to TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice awards for 2010, these are the best beaches and sunniest spots in the world. Tulum just south of Cancun on Mexico’s Caribbean Coast got the number two spot.

Tulum’s white-sand beaches and turquoise waters make it a real Mexican-gem, and it still attracts free-spirits and an adventurous crowd. It’s rapidly developing a chic, upscale side too. (See a video of the beautiful beach at Tulum here.)
