This house is in Punta Blanca. It’s just over two hours from the international airport at Guayaquil, on a good, paved road. It’s 15 minutes north of Salinas, a growing city with hospitals, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, and nightclubs.

Salinas also has two yacht clubs, and is a starting point for sailors on round-the-world trips. This is a prime spot for deep-sea fishing, too (Ernest Hemingway and Harry Truman fished here). This section of coast has warm weather year-round, with low humidity…perfect beach weather.
Punta Blanca has more than three miles of soft sand beach, washed by the calm, deep-blue ocean. Those calm waters make it a great swimming beach.
